samurai weasel lol.

The currency exchange rate doesn't matter cuz living standards are different everywhere. You could be paying $1 for a snack whereas I pay $5.

I'm leaning towards the Kingston: quality & low voltage. & most importantly, it may use Micron D9 chips which are the best overclockers, if that matters to you.

Really, if ambient temperature is higher year round...you probably should not overclock your computer, since you have fast components already, and you can't cool them below ambient (cheaply). That makes me lean toward the 1300 BAHT PQi RAM. I think that it is your better choice if not overclocking...you can get more of it!

So the general consensus is that the kingston is of better quality...

another question is if i there is a lot of difference between ddr2 533, 667, and 800
is it noticeable in games and in windows xp

the heat is the reason im getting the zalman 9700 my old p4 630 at stock 3.0 GHZ was idling at 55

yup sorry i forgot the 1 gb bit

FIXED IT

Your mobo specs say up to 1333MHZ FSB:

http://www.asus.com/products4.aspx?modelmenu=2&model=1646&l1=3&l2=11&l3=534&l4=0

The fastest desktop s775 chips are FSB 1333MHZ.

1333 / 4 = 333.25 * 2 = 666.5 or 667mhz ram

If you don't overclock, the fastest you should get is 667Mhz ram. However, your q6600 is FSB 1066MHZ:

1066 / 4 = 266.5 * 2 = 533mhz

If you don't o/c, any ram you install will be seen as 533mhz.

& no, you can't see any difference with your naked eyes between ram speeds unless you benchmark the ram or do very time-consuming calculations.
