MS Outlook Shared Calendar Not Opening

Hello and thanks for any help -

I work in a corporate environment and a user is having an issue with oepning her bosses shared calendar. The boss sent the calendar out to several people and only one user had an issue with opening it. Both users are using OL 2010 and when the user is opens the email the top left box to "Open..." the calendar is greyed out. I've tried opening her OL in safe mode and that is not helping. I know of the OL switched that can be ran from the "Run..." command but I didn't want to cause issues with her mailbox. Any help is appreciated.

Are the rights on the shared calendar setup to the user can open it?

Unfortunately, the boss who sent the invite is on vacation so we cannot access her settings but all other users had no issues and no permissions were changed for them. Could it be a case where the boss accidentally changed permissions?

Could be a case of several things, but without access to the calendar and checking the rights, no way to tell. By corporate environment you mean this is a domain setup with Exchange and network user account or something else?

Yes its on a domain with an Exchange server. I was hoping to get this resolved soon but I thought I may have to wait for her to come back from vacation. Thanks for your help though
