I have an Intel DG33BU Board - Very cool and stable.

I have C2D E4300 - will want upgrade in the future to quad.

Does this board supports The new 45nm Quad cores that will be here in the coming months.

On Intel website it does'nt say 45NM just Quad....I guess they mean 65nm. Does anyone know the answer?

Yes it will.

------------------------------ Intel will not take the top spot, or probably the top 3 spot back for the forseeable future. Not even with 32nm and more cores will intel be able to beat Jaguar. - JennyH the AMDiot, Nov 2009

Yes, the DG33BU (Buffalo Creek) will support the new 45nm processors. It only has a Vreg to support up to 95W DTP processors.

Currently the Bios does not have the uCode to support any of the 45nm processors but will soon from what my contacts tell me. I have one of those boards too.

Thanks - As I understand with an update to my bios to 0297 or up and a QUAD with max 95DTP I'll be able to run it OK - Right?

I guess the price of those 45nm quad will be a round 200$ in 4-6 months time?

I believe the only Quad Core 45nm processor that is greater than 95W DTP is the one being released November 12th. The QX9650.

Enjoy your board and future processor.
