Hello all, I can't seem to figure out what settings i need to change my bios to, to get my memory to 1066 instead of 800. I have a GA-P35-DS3L mobo, kingston hyperx pc8500 1066 mem 2x-1g, and a E8400 processor. Processor is stock now but I would like to overclock it as well. So my question is, with the F8a bios, i would like to overclock my e8400 to something stable with the stock intel cooler and my overclock my memory to match it. Any direction you can point me in would be great.

Thanks

Hey there. I have the gigabyte ga-v38-dq6 mobo so it might be close to or the same bios. If you have a selection that has 2.00C, 2.00D,2.66C,2.00D, etc select the 2.66D and use an FSB of 400 and you will see the result of 1066 you are looking for.

Anyone else have this setup? I'm very confused by this motherboard's BIOS. Should I worry about the BIOS when it flashes "Memory not Optimized" in red or should I ignore that?
