Driver Problem with half life 2

Hi all im new to this forum and have been looking for help. I recently bought "the orange box" of half life 2 and can play team fortress and portal, but cannot play half life 2 as is says my drivers are out of date. I have the most up to date driver and have the nvidia 7800gtx video card any help would be greatly appreciated. :fou:

According to www.canirunit.com, your videocard can run it at the minimum settings but not the recommended settings. I figure that the reason you can run TF2 and Portal but not HL2 is because HL2 is more graphically intensive. You might consider upgrading to a better videocard. Sometimes when you're having trouble with your drivers, it's good if you try and downgrade to a previous version.
