Hello,
lost the file edit tasks bar then retrieved that but now i have no return icon or house?

In which program/platform are you experiencing this loss of toolbars? Windows Explorer? or a Web Browser? I am guessing a web browser as you mentioned a "house" icon which is usually the homepage button.

If you're using IE, click the 'tools' drop down all the way to the right of the browser. Scroll down to toolbars-->customize-->add the desired icons.
