Ok.. I am a graphic designer so the more cores I have the better. I need all your expert advice in which motherboard to buy if any exist. I want to buy 2 Q6600 cpus but I dont know if theres any motherboards that have 2 sockets for these cpus. Does anyone know?

No boards are available. You'll need to go with Intel's xeon or amd's barcelona opteron to use more than one cpu on the same board. And all require registered ecc memory. Tyan and supermicro make some good server boards. Newegg had the 1.7 barcelona last time I checked. It uses only 55 watts and goes for $214.

I'm pretty sure that whatever you do will be limited by the hard drive, and even a single Q6600 will only work at 80% or so. At least that's my experience. I didn't even bother overclocking because of this.

Don't worry about dual CPUs. Get a GA-P35-DS3R motherboard, a Q6600, and a WD7500AAKS disk. Or several disks, if you want to set up RAID for even better speed.
