Hello Everyone,

I have a couple of PCs connected thru a wireless router. The internet is fed into that router and is shared by all the computers.

Now I have 2 internet connections (2 ISPS) so that incase one fails at any point of time I can use the other one to resume net.

But that process is time consuming and does effect the day to day work at times.

I wanted a method or way which would enable me to have 2 or 3 internet connections activate at all times (thru different isp) and if one fails somehow there should be a automatic switchover so that there is no issue of inactivity for long time.

How can this be achieved or is there a special device which can solve such a thing?.

Basically I want internet to be active all the time inspite of 1 ISP failing. Or the switching method should be quick.

If anyone can advice or shed light on the issue, i would be grateful.

Thank You,

JG

Get a Linksys RV042 router and use your wireless router as a wireless access point.

Thanks a lot for the suggestion. I think the router Linksys RV042 should do the job. :)
