hello,

quike question,

i would like to get a 4GB kit dual ch. (2x2048),
and i was planning on the OCZ.
it seems that i can't find it in my country and i was wondering which brand will be just as well?
for example i've heard that kingston is not so good, and coursier is even better thna the OCZ.

i wonder if it's true?

thank you,

S.

and of course i want to add,

i have an extreme striker mobo and E6850.

so i will need a ram that will fit perfectly to this configuration.

Corsair, Crucial and Patriot offer very good products, be sure to check the memory timings before purchasing, I would recommend a 800Mhz CAS 4 kit like this one http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820220269 not overly expensive, 800 Mhz and 4-4-4-12.
Be aware that almost all memory at 800 MHz or faster requieres you to MANUALLY set the voltage and timings in your bios, if you don't they will revert to standar 1.8v and 5-5-5-12.

Remember my suggestion is just an example.
Also, be sure NOT to choose a value ram kit (all manufacturers have this, so double check before buying).

value RAM is generally made with lower quality parts and you dont see many with heatspreaders or anything fansy to cool em down a bit more.

As Crono says stick with the big names and check mobo compatible with timings and voltage. Crucial as a nice compatibility wizard on there site.

Just about all manufacturers of memory have "lifetime" warranty
