Hi my name is Alex. Im looking for a good motherboard that can handle an 8800 Ultra and E6850 intel, and if this isnt enough, then a second 8800 ultra in SLI. What motherboard runs this stable? ive seen a lot of people complaining about the boards they chose being unstable and crashing or burning out. apart from the motherboard, all im missing is a nice and stable PSU, how many watts would this thing consume? Is setting up an SLI setup hard?

Asus Striker Extreme. 750W Silencer is a minimal.

Asus P5N is the same as the Striker minus a few OMG FTW 3LITE FTW's and its a better price

Power cooling 750W is awesome PSU also that will do that with ease

Have you considered 8800GT or the new GTS in SLI? GT for one uses less power, 1 slot card with good performance at awesome price and the new GTS will more than likely beat GTX still cheaper and less power also.
