I've had my system for almost a year now but had to replace my hard drive and reinstall XP for the first time on it. Everything appears to be working fine except the on board sound on my 680i Nvidia motherboard isn't showing up. It says I don't have a sound device installed. I've installed Nvidia's latest drivers for the MB.
The sound on the MB has been just fine for gaming and everything else so I'd rather not shell out the cash for a sound card I don't need just because of this issue. Does anyone have any idea what I could try to resolve this?
Windows XP EVGA 680i MB E6400 2 gigs of ram 7950gt
Thanks in advance for any helpful advice.

Actually I had to download the drivers that WazzaUK linked. They are for another 680i MB but seem to be working fine.
Before I did that though I had to track down some obscure Windows patch called kb888111 that MS only offers for cash. The patch fixed it so my MB's on board sound was recognized.
Oh and I should add that I found a place to DL the patch for free.
