ok its a ga-965p-ds4 rev1
basically i have tried higher dimm voltages including .400v and it was stable with prime memtest and everest. but then on the nxt boot it auto reset back to defualt.
it just doesnt like having the fsb changed ,not even to 1mhz.
i have used this same cpu and ram on another board and it overclocked fine.
i have found others that have the same issue its really weird.
i just dont know what im missing ? there must be something else that needs to be set .
id like to find out how it can be prime stable for 8 hours ,but not gigabyte "post check for 5 seconds" not stable lol
what prime takes hours for , gigabyte decides in 5 secs ?how does that work? i really dont like there auto reset feature it doesnt make sense.
