I've had a Dell 600m for about 5 years, added 2 sticks of Kingston RAM when I bought it. There hasn't been any new hardware installed since, and no software for a few months. So one day I started getting the BSOD with the error

IRQL NOT LESS OR EQUAL

STOP 0x0000000A 0x00000000 0x00000002 0x00000001 0x804DC11D

I can't do any memory tests or anything, because I get the BSOD everytime I start the computer. When I tested the memory sticks, it didn't solve anything. If I try to start it in safe mode, I've noticed that it will get stuck on sptd.sys. But when I restart and go to the recovery console, I just get a blank black screen with a flashing text cursor in the top corner, nothing else.

Can anyone help me out?
