  1. Get one or two 8800GT's, not the now vastly overpriced 8800GTX. (I recommend Evga)
Cooler master PSU's are bad. Try a Corsair, Seasonic, or Power PC and C ( I recommend Seasonic out of these). Get a Q6600 and overclock with your cooler. You could spend slightly less on a case than $170. Raptors aren't worth it anymore. Raid two larger drives in striping and acheive the same affect with more capacity.
  2. agreed with above. that motherboard is only going to give you performance if you SLI, so if you get 2 8800gts its worth it, otherwise go for the much cheaper and equal performer p35 chipset
  3. I would also suggest getting one or two 8800gts. A single 8800gt performs very close to the gtx but for a lot less money. Also, I would suggest 4 gigs of ram, especially if you are going to run a 64 bit operating system, its very cheap right now, you can get two 2 gig dimms for relatively cheap.
  4. To clarify, GT, not GTS.
  5. thanks for the replies.

Just saw the reviews for the 8800gt and will get 2.

    thanks again
  6. question:
    how about this PSU
    SeaSonic S12 Energy Plus SS-650HT ATX12V / EPS12V 650W Power Supply 100
with 2 8800GT's added to the mix
