Well I'm getting ready to put together my first machine. I thought I would run the parts by you guys. This will be a gaming/multimedia machine mostly. I plan on building this after Christmas, so if you know of any good up coming parts I can substitute in that would be great. I was thinking of substituting the q6600 for a q9450. Any sexy graphic cards coming out between now and then? Any other advice is welcome as well. My budget is around 2k.

thanks forgot to add that, as of now it would be 8800gt. Are there any other new graphic cards coming out between now and early January that might rival the gt?
