Over in the new build section for a budget build, an e2160 CPU was recommended for its OC capability. The builder was using a board with the P35 chipset.
I have an older board (ASUS P5NSLI-G) with the Nvidia 570 SLI chipset and a Pentium D 940. I know that the e2160 will fit in this board, but does this chipset have the OC capabilities to be anywhere close to what the P35 can do with this CPU?
I'm limited in my RAM to 667 MHz on this MoBo. Will that take away the performance gains from OC'ing an e2160 on this setup?
