Stupidly threw away the outer box for my mobo and now can't find the serial number so can't register it with Asus for tech support. I've looked on the board but can't find it. can anyone tell me how to find it?

Not sure, but check the number here to see if it is the S/N.

Thanks for the suggestion but already tried that (on the asus site) and it didn't work. Also doesn't say S/N at beggining.
Guess I'm going to have to dismatle the who thisnhg to check all over including back of mobo.
