The last few components for my first PC build are coming in today, and I had a question regarding software and applications. I've seen benchmarking and utility programs (like 3DMark 11) mentioned on this site before, and I was just wondering if you all could offer a list of recommended programs for custom PC builders. I just want to verify that my system is running at an optimal level. Anything from benchmarking to automated disk cleanup utilities would be welcome. Thank you!

3DMark for video and some general stress testing (power supply will be used pretty well here)

Prime95 for RAM, CPU and heat testing.

It won't really tell you if the system is setup right, but will tell you if it's stable.
