Hi all. I just need some input on whether or not the hx 520 and 620w PSUs have problems with the Abit IP35-E motherboard. I know these are quality PSU's, but as seen here http://forum.abit-usa.com/showthre [...] a&t=129727, there have been reports of problems between them and this motherboard. All input welcome.
Thanks

I read the forum and it dosen't provide any definite information. Maybe its a bad party (know to happen.) You could take a look at the following tread for recommendations.

You might want to rephrase your question though. The way it's stated you seem to be asking if it has problems with an IP35-E. If the power is bad it will have problems with almost all MBs. No matter who the manufacturer is or what the model number is.

lol thats exactly what I'm asking. I already know its a great quality psu, i was about to buy one, but before i did i found that forum and am now concerned that it has a problem with specifically the ip35-e or ip35 pro. Can anyone confirm or deny it. Would be much appreciated.

Well, the combination is working for me so far (have the 620 and the -E), but I've only been running the new build for a couple of hours, so I can't give any guarantees.

I did notice someone on the Abit forum writing about hearing about problems with the combo a few days ago though, but I didn't study it closely. (I thought that was better for my nerves as I'd already bout the PSU.) ;)
