Okay, I bought the new Pioneer Blu Ray drive (bdc-2202) and I installed it. The bios (MSI 790FX) detects the drive just fine, and windows shows the drive in my computer and it looks as if its going to work fine, but i put a disk in and it doesnt do anything, and i go to click on it and it acts as if there is no disk in the drive, itll eject through windows but not read any disc, cd, dvd, or BD. Im really stumped here and hope that the guys here at toms can help me. I dont know what to do now, please help me!

i have the same problem but mines worse.... i just bought new gpu ATI 4850 and the disk isnt getting reconsied in powerdvd, vista is being really slow svchost is the cause of this but if your needing help thin i need help too

Ashley1171 - Have you downloaded the Hotfix patch for the 4850.
