Help with school project: designing a Information System

Hey guys,

I'm a long time reader in THG, and I know a lot of people here are working and very knowledgeable in the field. I'm in BU School of management and the project contains one section of IS department which I'm in charge. I have some ideas of how it should be, but I don't have any real knowledge of what is out there beside what I learn from the book. So if any of the forum veterans can help me draw some new ideas, I will greatly appreciate it.
