I bought a retail version of Asus p5k-e motherboard from Newegg. The motherboard box was not sealed closed and the motherboard came in a static free bag which was not sealed also. The board was simply placed in the static free bag and placed in the Asus box. Is this the normal way to package and ship this mobo? How do I know if they shipped an open box item instead? What do you think?
generally i have found most of the boxes I order from them have been opened..and resealed with some non-brand tape....however the Mobo or other items generally are still sealed in the static-free wrap
