I've set up bus stops around my city.Suddenly my transportation adviser
tells me I need to set up transit stations for the sims to get off.
I places a few around and when I queried them they were elevated railway
stations.I don't have an elevated rail system. Is this a glitch or what?

Never heard of this... or ever gotten that message from my advisor. Is
your game up to date? If not, patch it.

I patched it and he still comes on from time to time.If I have one transit
station up will this cause it you think?A bus station only needs its self
and possably a public parking lot to run corectly, isn't this true?

Any transit station, be it bus, subway, etc., requires at least two of in any
standalone city. Otherwise, sims can get on but they can't get off. It is
possible, however, to have one station each in two different cities and sims
will cross the border.

If you have a single station, that causes a message... as for
transportation networks, I've found that the more things you have
interconnected with eachother, the more efficient your network
becomes.
