I built three of these, they work well and are OC to a mild 3G/1333. There are cheaper mobos in that line and some people like Asus. I can't comment on them.

Q6600 G0

GIGABYTE GA-P35-DQ6

Thermalright Ultra-120 Extreme CPU Cooler

Scythe S-FLEX SFF21F 120mm Fan

Crucial Ballistix 2GB DDR2 800

It's a moot point because it looks like that board was discontinued and replaced with this one GIGABYTE GA-X38-DQ6. As far as OC no problems at all. I suspect it is the same with all Bearlake chipsets although I haven't seen anything about the X38 other than they are overpriced. One of the three setups has an 8800gtx the other two have x1950pros. I had no problems with any of them, knock on wood. If you don't need the extras on the mobo there are other Gigabyte P35 mobos that are less expensive and still have the ultradurable components. Here is a link to the mobo comparison page on Gigabytes website. GIGABYTE - Product - Motherboard - Comparison Sheet - Scroll down - 2 Pages
