I have an 8800 gtx and a Q6600. Im not interested in running sli or overclocking. Should I get an 680i motherboard or should I stick to my intel dg33bu? Im just wondering if Id be getting better performance with the 680i motherboard, even without using sli or overclocking. I know that the 680i is optimized for the 8800 gtx but does that only apply when youre using sli? Im not looking forward to upgrading but if theres going to be a substantial performance increase, then I might think about it.

If u are not going to OC or SLI, then definitely keep your board, who has said 680i is optimized for 8800GTX ? definitely dont change your motherboard, its a waste of money
