Hi guys, I recently built my computer about 2 months ago, I planned this to be the "end all be all" PC that I use for quite some time. It has 4 gigs of DDR2, 2x 8800 GTX's in SLI, a Q6600 quad core, and vista 32 bit. Thing is, recently I bought Call of Duty 4 and the performance just doesn't seem that great, SLI is on, I even went into my control panel and turned all settings to application controlled, set the graphics to lowest in the in game settings and used the in game console command to track my FPS. My FPS was only 90 it wouldn't go any higher than that... Thats pretty messed up, am I doing something wrong? Is my SLI not working? It just seems like I'm not getting as much performance that I should be getting. Of course I don't play Call of Duty 4 on all lowest with everything on highest on certain multi player maps my FPS will drop to 40... I just don't get it, are my cards faulty? Do I need to change something in my settings? I have V Sync forced off...

Try a different game. When I played COD4 on my modest computer I found it ran very well. Maybe your system is too good for this game.

Yeah I have the latest Nvidia drivers and even on Tabula Rasa and Team Fortress 2 I seem to only get like 35-60 and its not allways 60 fps its allways jumping like crazy : / Hmm maybe I will need to take this thing in and get her tuned and OC'ed.
