I've been looking for informations on many forums these past few weeks to improved my Computer Gaming culture. Yesterday, while reading posts on what's the best graphic card for gaming, a new element came into play. The Nvidia Quadro FX5600. I know this is a card for graphic design, etc...

Now comes my question:

-Is a Nvidia Quadro FX5600 good for gaming?
-Is it better than Geforce 8 Serie cards?
-Besides the fact that it's ''EXPENSIVE'' :pt1cable:  , would you choose this card for your gaming rigs? Why?

Thanks folks!

The Quadro is like an Intel Xeon - same thing for servers and work stations, does the same thing but more heavily tested and more expensive.

Nope..quadro cards are crap for playing games..they are designed for high end video editing/autocad editing etc. You can play games with them but the performance is about 20-30% behind the Geforce range.
Are they better than the 8 series? No for games. Yes for the above.
Would I choose one? for above.
