I'm looking to buy a Toshiba 62HMX94. My concern is that in the instruction
manual, under HDMI and Firewire connections it says "NEVER CONNECT THIS TV
TO A PERSONAL COMPUTER (PC). This TV is not intended for use with a PC."
What the heck????
I called Toshiba and the level 1 person who answered told me that there
won't be a problem with connecting a PC. But she didn't give me a very good
reason for why the manual says that you shouldn't do it. I asked the sales
rep at the store and he had no clue why.
Can anyone comment on this and let me know if I'll have trouble using a
computer with this TV?

My understanding is that some plasmas, etc. can get burn in.
