What is considered a good idle temp and load temp for a E8400 @ stock settings with a Zalman 9700 using MX-2 paste? Just ballpark is fine

Just got done installing my new PC, with Zalman 9700 in Antec 900 case.. Zalman fan facing the front of the PC with rear fan pushing air out. All Antec fans are on low setting as is the Zalman (right under 1200 rpms using Fanmate2) and my temps are below on stock settings

Idle per Core Temp

Core0 41
Core1 44

Load per Core Temp (using dual prime with 100 cpu utilization)

Core0 51
Core1 54

Are these too high? I was thinking of OCing to 4GHz but don't want to have temp issues.

No those temps are just fine. Just as long as load core temps doesn't exceed 65C, it's all good.
