More Information

Hi,

I bought a DVD RW (Sony DRU 190s) from ebuyer approximately a month ago. I only installed it yesterday and when i initially installed it, all seemed fine(it powered on during boot and i even tested it once on the desktop by putting a disk inside-which loaded fine).
However after restarting the computer, the drive is not recognised in BIOS, and device manager and my computer.
The strange thing though is that the drive opens and closes fine. I have checked the sata cables and even tried different sata cables(and putting it in differnt sata slots) but it still doesnt work. [#7fff00]

Motherboard- MSI 675800c

Thanks!!!
