OK this is what im planning on getting:

 

CPU: C2Duo E6750 2.66Ghz 4m CACHE 1333FSB LGA 775
MB: Abit IP35-E P35 1333FSB Dual DDR2
RAM: Corsair twinx 1gig x 2 (2gig) DDR2 XMS2-6400C4 800mhz
GRAPHICS: INNO3D 8800GT 512MB
Harddrive: Sumsung 320GB 16meg cache 7200rpm
Case: Antec SOLO no psu
PSU: Antec Truepower Trio 550W
Opt-drive: LG 18x DVD+R burner
Monitor: LG 19" 2000:1 5ms Response DVI 1440x900
OS: Vista home premium retail. (Still deciding whether to go 32 or 64 bit, although leaning towards 32 for the extra stability and compatability)

 

Hopefully buying in a few days. Please comment or make suggestions. Thanks

it looks good, maybe a better brand for th GPU something like XFX BFG Evga, what CPU cooler are you going to use?

Im planning on using the stock cooler for the time being. If i decide to overclock in a year or so i would buy one then, but as for now the stock cooler should be sufficient shouldnt it.
Also thats the only 8800gt the site im buying off has atm.

then it looks fine, i will recomend a modest oc something like 2.8-3.0 and i will recomend keep looking for the good brand 8800gt's they are worth just my opinion

What is the difference between good and bad brand video cards. I found the good brands on another website, but there $100 more expensive :s

And why do you recommend that psu? I didn't notice that one there before and it looks really good. Although it is 30W less, and provides only 40A total over the three rails, where as the antec provides 18A over each one. It definitely looks better then the Antec, but will it be able to provide enough power? That 40A sounds rather low.

like mentioned before, the psu needs to be changed. Everything else seems fine.

Ok ive looked at a couple of reviews and decided that yes im going to change the psu to the corsair hx520w listed above
