In need of Advice on my First time build,specifically for Games (WoW,EQ2 etc.) Hoping not to spend more than $1500 and if possiable less. I have notice that most of the other builds always quote INTEL but i was hoping to use AMD AThlon would like to know pros and cons of each. so if anyone would kindly offer some advive that would be great and i would be greatly appreaciated.

What type of case? I was thinking of something easy to work with Space and Cooling as well. also power supply

Processor i was thinking AMD AThlon Not sure which would be best though.

You can max out settings on WoW and EQ with a 3 year old machine...and only spend about $300 if you really wanted to go that way. If you want a future proof system for gaming, than yeah you'll need to spend $1500.

PS: Intel and Nvidia is the way to go as of now.

Intel might be the "flavor" of the moment but both AMD and Intel systems will get you a great system for $1500.

One change to both of those - drop the 8800GTS video card for an 8800GT. Evga Superclocked 8800GT $295
