i have amd x2 6400 BE but why i can't change multiplier in 17X or 18X????

my motherboard is gigabtye nvidia nforce 550.
By "Can't" you mean when you do, it doesn't boot? That's normal, there's not a lot of overclocking capability in the processor, and you'd at least need to raise the core voltage significantly first.
"unlocked" on the 6400+ BE really means "lower multipliers are unlocked", if you want higher multipliers get the 5000+ BE ...sorry, i thought the same thing when i got mine
