I am looking for a CPU heatsink/fan, but I'm a little intimidated by the amount of choices. Aside from reading reviews on Newegg, I don't know how to gauge their quality. So here's what I'm looking for.

Socket AM2
$50 or under

Can anyone suggest a heatsink/fan, preferably one they have had experience with? The processor is an AMD X2 4000.

Thanks.

I haven't had any experiences with any, except perhaps a clone like type:

ARCTIC COOLING Freezer 64 Pro 92mm CPU Cooler - Retail - The usual recommended for price/performance in cooling

ZEROtherm BTF90 92mm Silent UFO CPU Cooler - Retail - Seems pretty nice, same basic type of cooling.

Here's a review on the ZeroTherm BTF90 CPU Cooler. Reviews like that are something to look for, as far as seeing the pros/cons on certain products.

needs a fan or 2. 1 for that cpu.

Oooo... almost forgot about that cooler. $6 bucks.. Wow. With good airflow with a good side fan if its in the right position could give you decent load temps without a direct fan on it.
