Hello,
Getting ready to build a computer here and Im set on a Q6600, 8800gt machine. I want to know what the best bang for buck CPU cooler is, as well as case, cause I dont want to spend more than 50 on a case if I dont have to...
ideas?

EDIT: I forgot, can I get an OEM Q6600?? thats the best option if I plan on getting a separate cpu cooler right?

Well if you get one of those giant heat-pipe coolers, then you can get a 120mm fan. They are typically quieter.

I don't know weather or not this one is good, but it's just an idea.

Also in my experience, most of the noise comes from the GPU.

And to your edit, yes OEM is the way to go if you are buying an after market cooler. I don't think that Intel will warranty OEM processors (just something to keep in mind).
