GAMING PC - $1000 COMMENTS PLEASE

Hello, I am trying to build a gaming budget PC with $1000 (give or take a few). I would greatly appreciate comments or advice on this, since this is my very first build. I have done a fair share of research but I would like to know if all the components are going to be compatible well. (As you can see I am starting from SCRATCH, monitor included)

If you want this to be a gaming rig I would suggest that you extend you budget by about $60-100 a get an 8800GT instead of the 8600. The 8600 is not much of a gaming card. For the mother board I would go with a P35 board such as the GIGABYTE GA-P35-DS3L which is about the same price as the one you had.

Agreed with majorpain1 588, if you want a gaming pc get the 8800GT it kills the 8600GT, and is almost the best on the market right now
