Either HDMI(lol?), component or something that can recieve digital signal that isn't a coaxial plug-in?

I'm not finding anything...

does both HD and SD. They have a higher end solution as well in the Axio product line.

I'm not sure but the sony vegas may only be software. Anyway you should be able to make an informed decision with all this info.
