right ok i got a large file over the internet, its an ISO. it has been zipped funny.

it is in 50 different segments called
[filename].001
[filename].002
[filename].003
all the way to 50 or so then:
[filename].sfv
i go no idea how to open these ive tried 7zip and Winrar, i have both any help

Ok, you downloaded a "iso" which is a disk image. Either cd or dvd. You will need to burn the image to disk or look for a ISO reading program.

easiest way is to google iso burning software or use Nero if you have it. Or google ISO and read up on what that implies.

I'm really not sure why downloading "iso" has become so popular lately but MS has been doing it with their beta software and their are plenty of app's out there that will help you out

thanks for the help but i already know how to mount ISO i do it alot, but some one has zipped this iso i dont know how to unzip it

You might need to be a little more specific, link etc. Unless it is shady, then don't.

Don’t try to open SFV files. They’re added to verify the integrity of your download (like CRC, checksum and hash checks). Just open *.001 with winrar and unzip it to a folder.
