Built my first own build last night,

abit ip35-e
e2180
antec p182

pepared the hsf and cpu with articlean 1 and 2. then used AS 5

this is the hsf http://www.tigerdirect.com/app...dpNo=2943299&CatId=493

I have it at 270mhz x 10 for 2.7 ghz @ the lowest vcore
fsb:ram at 1:1
dram timings at 5, 5, 5, 15, and auto the rest.
disabled C1E

Ive been running prime 95 for 6 hours with no errors.
Idle temps by coretemp: 21 C for both
Load temps by coretemp: 50 C for both

Are those OK temperatures? Should I change any more settings in the bios? voltages?

Thanks. And thank you to graysky, without that guide oh how to oc, I never would have been able to do this!

not a bad oc but maybe your volts are a bit high. At 1.325v i get 3.2ghz on my e2140 temps never hit 55deg c always around 53 with stock cooler from my q6600 and generic paste.

Damn nice E2140 (go higher :D)

Thats okay. The E2180 seems to be more power hungry then the other two. At the stock voltage I can get 310 x 9 = 2.8.

Its totally stable. I will eventually get a TRUE or IFX and really do some work on OCing
