You mean a standard clocked or an overclocked e6600? I'm quite sure an OCed e6600 will be the faster one :)

can an overclocked e2160 beat an e6600?

both can reach 3.3ghz, but it all comes down to applications - cache/fsb/ram intensive apps will love the E6600 cause the cache buffers and assists all those operations, as for bang for the buck - the 2140 rules.

Of course can beat. Especially after 3GHz.

An E2160 @ 3.5GHz can beat a X6800, let alone a stock E6600. :P

Of course an E6600 @ 3.5GHz would own it. ;)
