Hey all, I'm in the middle of my first build right now, and in doing so had a few questions arise.

First: I have an Arctic Cooling 7 Pro to cool my q6600. I also bought some AC MX-2 thermal paste to go along with it. To my surprise, the AC7 already has mx-2 pre-applied. My question is, do I need to apply any more to the top of the processor, or just let the square of pre-applied mx-2 do the trick?

Second: My case is a CM 690, and my mobo is the ASUS P5K-e Wifi version. The case draws cool air in from the front and bottom, and blows hot air out the top and back. Should I position the AC7 so that the fan faces out towards the back or the front to get the best airflow?

Sorry for kind of a newbie question. This is a great board full of intelligent and dedicated users and enthusiasts, and I thank all of you for your contributions.

Cheers!

1) Don't add any more. It's already pre-applied, which is enough.

2.)Towards the back, so the case fan can help the airflow go faster.
