I have a desktop and laptop

I want to access the laptop drive from the desktop. Is USB feasible?

I bought Bioshock - it installed and ran. Closed it. Now it won't recognize the disc. Tried all the posted fixes and both 2K games and SecuROM. The offending drive in the PC is DVD RW. The laptop drive is DVD.

Can I trick the game on load to look for the game disc on the laptop and play it on the desktop?

You would need to put the PCs on the network and make the drives shared drives or run it remotely.
