I currently have have a 320Gb 7200 rpm hard drive. I want more storage and better performance, so I'm thinking about buying an identical one, and putting them in RAID 0. That's one option. Or, I could get a 300gb VelociRaptor, clone the data currently on the 320gb(not at full yet) to the VelociRaptor, and use that as my primary, and the 320gb as storage. My question is, what would be faster, two 320gb in Raid 0, or a VelociRaptor-Storage combo. Btw, I have a 780i mobo with built in raid controller.

The velociraptor would definitely be faster, due to the reduced access times.
