Run the XP disk from boot mode.
Select "repair existing installation"

OR reformat and install XP again, making sure that the computer has an internet connection.
XP will connect and download updated XP from microsoft while it installs.

You have a bunk video driver which becomes corrupted when installing XP, this is a very common irritation.

The "repair mode" on the XP disk will usually cure the problem. :pt1cable: [/quotemsg

If it's a SATA hard drive, and you have XP SP1, you'll need to slipstream SP2 or SP3 into your installation disc.
