I'd go with the quad. 250ish isnt to bad for 4 cores, hehe, and they operate quite well under OC situations. (Unless you have a 680i, then its luck of the draw what you can do!) I have 3 cheap quads, 2 6600 and an phenom 9500.

Yeah, Gang up on Evilonigiri! I swear I never talked to him, nope!! Quad, quad! Then again, I have noticed that my Crysis likes core #zero only when runnin', and minimally uses one other one. So I Suppose if you can find a dual core with faster speed, and able to OC stably over the quads, then get it. I will admit, crysis @3.61 on a quad has some pretty fluid movement, even on a 8800GTS normal. Big difference from 2.4. (and on an ultra!) Although my p5k-e does weird fade in and out thingies with the sound, to where you sound like yer blowing up all the time, lol!!

Get a Quad.
