problem with vga drivers?

Hi,

I have this problem with my Sapphire x1650XT. When Catalyst 7.10 got out, i immediately installed it on my system. Crysis (demo) came out and i played some and after that i decided to go back to my good old NBA Live 07 to play some. Unfortunately whenever i launched it, after a few seconds, it took me back to the desktop and minimized the game in the taskbar.

I said to myself "it's a driver problem (damn these ATI boys!)" and got back to my faithful catalyst 7.9. the problem is that when i switched back to 7.9 Crysis had the same symptoms (NFS Prostreet the same) and couldn't play for more than 20 sec without minimizing the game and making me crazy.

I started believing that these are all EA games and EA is f***ing with me but it's not that. I have the same symptoms with Bioshock...

I'm getting kind of desperate... I tried removing all Vga drivers and install 7.10 fresh but it doesn't work... can't play NBA live 08 now (but i can play crysis)..


I don't know wether this is the right forum section to post this, but if u could help me, please do...
