Does anyone know or can guess when the price of the GT 8800 will come down?

I have a new build im about to buy and at the moment the graphics card is eating into my budget

It performs aswell as a GTX for half the price, if you want more then that thats kinda being greedy.

Nobody knows when itll come down in price im afraid.. if..

I'd also love to know when some of the better brands are going to be stocked again, I can't seem to find any eVGA brand 8800GTs.

Can't see it happening until well into 2008. They are mega-scarce at the moment. Depends on how well the new HD38xx sells. If they bomb may be looking at the spring at the earliest...
