why does message tell me that wrong volume is in D drive?

Did you change your CD or DVD disc without closing out the application or windows that were using the first disc you inserted?

I am assuming that the D: drive is an optical DVD or CD drive because this error most frequently occurs with such drives. If not, let me know.

You can either replace the original CD/DVD in the drive, or you can perform a restart to see if that stops your message.
