I was looking at upgrading my motherboard and eventually my cpu. My first upgrade was going to be the motherboard and I was considering the Abit P35 Pro. I was also considering the Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3R. At some point, I hope to put in a quad core, maybe the 45nm ones, and over-clock it a bit. I then read about the Vdroop and wondered just how much a problem it is and if I should look at a different board. Any thoughts or advice? Thanks.

it's not a major problem except for the extreme overclockers & for them there is a voltmod.
Vdroop is part of Intel's specification.

Ok. Thanks. I got a little nervous and decided to pick up a Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3P REV 2.0 when I saw it on sale. Price was just too good to pass up, got solid reviews and looks fairly comparable. Thanks for the advice though.
