Hi,
I am overclocking my cpu (E6300) and after only 10 Mhz in the bus frequency the temp of the cores got to 59 (This was the higher the cores got in S&M). the cpu itself got to 45C. Are those fine temps? My TjMax is 85C (I really don't understand how to calculate the cpu temp with the whole story about the faked C2D temps).
So can I continue OClocking? What temp will be dangerous?
most people like to stay below 60C under load... but try to avoide any higher than 65-70.... Thos temps are fine as long as they aren't on 24/7, which they msot likely wont be if you just play a game for a couple hours.
